Process

Easy Talk's language translation process involves three main steps: translation - editing - proofreading (TEP) and a final quality assessment (QA) performed by the project manager of Easy Talk. Each of the three steps in the TEP process is performed by three different certified linguistic teams.

 

For large language translation projects Easy Talk usually develops a comprehensive glossary of terms specific to the client's project. This process is managed by the terminology manager of Easy Talk, his responsibility is to receive, interpret, convert and implement terms of language translation project via a dynamic glossary that is distributed and integrated across our teams of linguists. We combine language translation tools and processes to ensure that the correct terms are implemented at all times, combining accuracy with time-efficiency. This process provides consistency of terminology of the language translation project, while allowing each linguist to submit adaptations and modifications where he/she deems appropriate.

  • be language experts within their language pair, posses expert knowledge in the subject matter and have mastery in writing in their respective language;

Easy Talk's linguists use language translation glossaries, up-to-date dictionaries and industry-specific terminology tools. Along with glossaries, we at Easy Talk use translator style guides that are the other key 'preventive' measure for translation success. By applying style guides for language translation, we can accurately outline the expected style and tone for the translated material.

  • The language translation process itself including commissioning, translation, proofreading, review, project management, quality control, traceability and delivery;

  • The human resources in the language translation industry;

  • The contractual framework with the client.

Due to implementation of EN 15038:2006 standard, the quality of the language translation services provided by Easy Talk improved, which in turn caused an increase in the number of our clients and translators.
